卡尔•洛伦茨教授领导的格陵兰岛探险队失踪了，但证据显示洛伦茨还活着，于是约翰内斯•克拉夫特博士重启了救援任务。博士在卡拉雅克冰川发现洛伦茨留下的标记，说明其想抵达因纽特人聚居地，但是当他试图追踪这一线索时，自己和队友也陷入冰雪牢笼之中。他们找到了洛伦茨，并通过通讯广播求救。洛伦茨的妻子赫拉驾驶飞机抵达极地，但在冰海着陆时机体失事受损，她也同其他人失联。现在谁还能帮忙呢？(小易甫字幕组)
